Meet Our Staff

Miss Paula Mann, the director of Fancy Feet, has been in the dance industry for more than 40 years as a performer, choreographer, and teacher in South Carolina, North Carolina, and New York.  She is a member of Dance Educators of America and Professional Dance Teachers of America.  She has choreographed the Mommy, I Can Dance video series, Mrs. South Carolina America Pageants, many commercials, an International Show Team, as well as numerous nationally award winning routines throughout the years.  She has taught as a master class teacher up and down the east coast and judged dancers all over the United States.  A mother of three professional dancers, and a teacher for the past 35 years, it is evident that the important role an educator plays in a young person’s life is uppermost in her teaching philosophy.

David Mann is presently the artist in residence at Fancy Feet and is the founder and head choreographer of DMantapp. David’s performance credits include Victor in Smokey Joes Cafe, NBC, Paramount, Hugo Boss, and various cruise lines. His students can be seen on broadway in national and international tours, on cruise ships and national television. Mann’s innovative tap choreography has appeared on Good Morning America, America’s Most Talented Kids, and in the national tours of On Tap, Road to Victory, and most recently DR Doolittle Starring Tommy Tune.
